Hi. I’m Jennifer. I am a content strategist, content developer, an information architect, and a usability designer. That is, I design and create information for online consumption. I also work with search engine optimization (organic rankings of course), creating content strategies–and when I can–creating websites themselves. Currently, I consult on:

I have been working in the telecommunications industry since 1991. I used to write the user manuals for communications networking equipment. I wrote about how to make a piece of equipment work by itself and to talk to other pieces of network equipment. Basically, I wrote about the equipment and the technology that makes your phone and internet services work.

In 2001, I moved to Healdsburg, California (the center of Sonoma County Wine Country) where I worked in telecom initially, and subsequently in wine, hospitality, and destination tourism. I currently co-own and operate two vacation rentals in Healdsburg (FitchMountainLookout.com and HealdsburgBungalow.com).

I am a writer and a blogger. That’s just what I do. In this world of evolving technology, I also want to start using audio, video, mobile, and other forms of communication. I started this site to offer a local perspective on my community and insights for people traveling to this region for it’s wine and food.
